Centre Multi Event & Walks ChampsThe first SLLAC Multi Event championship was a fantastic sucess - So many PBs on the day by so many athletes. Congratulations to all athletes who took part. There were over 160 athletes participating and the feedback is that fun was had by all.
So many parents worked tirelessly all day to make the day a sucess and while it is dangerous to single out people, the Summervale walks officials and timers were fantastic in ensuring the walks progressed quickly and the data entry personnel of Jayne Barrett, Janine Healey and Michelle Walker did a superb job in posting results and updating positions within 20 mins of an event. Thanks to Rio Tinto for sponsoring the event and providing medals and ribbons for all age groups. Full results are now available for all age groups for the Multi Event. The walks championships were also a terrific sucess with more than 80 athletes participating.
